Pricing Policy Update for the Newfoundland and Labrador
Interchangeable Drug Products Formulary (NIDPF)
On March 28, 2008, Bulletin #9 noted that the “implementation date of April 1, 2008, for Volume 53 of the Newfoundland and Labrador Interchangeable Drug Products Formulary, has been delayed until January 1, 2009.”
A decision has been made to post Volume 53 prices based on the guaranteed price quotes from manufacturers for Volume 53. Pharmacies are given a 15 day notification period before the new pricing comes into effect on May 1, 2008. This change applies to all products listed in Volume 53. Guaranteed price quotes are going to be requested from manufacturers for Volume 54, and the prices published in Volume 54 accordingly.
